WALLA WALLA WINE FLIES FREE THANKS TO ALASKA AIRLINES TASTE & TOTE PROGRAM, WHICH INCLUDES WAIVED TASTING FEES AT 75+ LOCAL WINERIES
(WALLA WALLA, Wash.)—A trip to the capital of Washington wine country just got easier – and more affordable – thanks to Alaska Airlines Taste and Tote program, which allows travelers departing from the Walla Walla Regional Airport to check their first case of wine at no charge.
What’s more, the program grants Alaska Airlines travelers VIP access to more than 75 Walla Walla Valley wineries. Visitors need only present a current Alaska Airlines boarding pass to receive waived tasting room fees at scores of awardwinning Walla Walla wineries, including Pepper Bridge, L’Ecole No. 41 and Dunham Cellars, resulting in a significant cost savings.
“What truly sets Walla Walla apart from other wine destinations is the people: the winemakers, the chefs, and the numerous small business owners who are eager to share their passions with each and every person who visits Walla Walla,” said Ron Peck, executive director of Tourism Walla Walla. “Alaska Airlines recognizes and supports this by making it easy for visitors to take a piece of Walla Walla home with them to share with family and friends.”
