Washington House was constructed in 1900. The current owners saw the potential to remake this grand old house and embarked on a labor of love to retain the neighborhood’s character while creating a showpiece home.

Everything in the house is new, including furniture, fixtures, decor, appliances, and soft goods. The only original pieces left are the fireplace and the stained glass window in the kitchen.

Washington House sits on a lovely tree-lined street within walking distance to Whitman College and downtown Walla Walla.

This house is filled with beautiful details. The staircase is hand-made and features hand-carved black walnut. The table also features black walnut table legs made by Symmetry Hardware in Portland, Oregon. You’ll also find a handmade double sink in the master bath with black walnut.

Look closely and you’ll find vintage tile work on the upstairs landing, and art downstairs made by local Walla Walla artists. and vintage copper Edison lights in the bedrooms.
