Fall in Walla Walla!
prime time for wine
September to November
Harvest is in the air
You can literally smell the excitement during autumn in the Valley – with tons of grapes being harvested, you’re rarely far from a crew returning from an early morning pick or a sleep-deprived winemaker anxiously monitoring weather conditions. The season is capped with the annual Fall Release Weekend (November 1-3, 2024).
Fall kicks off with the annual Walla Walla Fair & Frontier Days (August 28 – September 1, 2024) and Wheelin’ Walla Walla (September 6-7, 2024, see below). On the (w)heels of the fuel-driven Wheelin’ Walla Walla follows The Grit (September 8, 2024) which showcases the vast network of gravel rides in the nearby Blue Mountains.
Capes and masks adorn fans who come to Walla Walla for Adam West Day (September 21, 2024), celebrating the Walla Walla native who played “Batman” during the 1960s, and sneakers abound for the Falla Walla Half-Marathon and 10k (October 12, 2024).
