- Marguerite Walla Walla: Peggy Frasse’s vision is to bring “provisions and creations for an inspired home, and table” in this beautiful space in the Showroom on Colville. Whether you’re looking for a lovely olive oil, local rosé, high-quality pasta, unique (and fabulous) glassware, or a sinful truffle butter; Peggy has curated a beautiful space for you to explore. Epicureans and home decorators delight – there are great price points on these hand-selected items. And while you’re shopping, don’t miss saying hello to her sweet shop pup, Buddy!
- Wild Willow Flower House: Owned by Jamie Graham, and operated by her female team, Wild Willow Flower House combines the love of flowers with amazing gifts and beautiful décor. Located on the corner of Colville and Alder, this gem offers unique gifts, stylish home accents, potted plants, all kinds of flowers, and more! There’s even a stem bar to shop from if you want to make your own bouquet, as well as already-made bouquets if you just need to pop in and pick up something beautiful to take to a friend’s house, or to brighten up your Airbnb.
- The Market by Andy’s: There’s no better place to start your day! The Market by Andy’s serves up fresh juices and smoothies six days a week at its convenient location downtown in the Showroom on Colville. They also have fantastic snacks, from artisanal cheeses to vegan sandwiches – perfect for a picnic or a day of wine tasting. (Check with local wineries to see if they allow outside food, many do.) - Trove Mercantile & Design: Curating beautiful spaces and collecting special pieces is what Julie Baston does best (and you can see it in every touch and item in her lovely shop). Trove offers tasteful and trendy home decor, furniture, and gifts in her thoughtful and aesthetically calming shop. She carries hand-selected items (at great price points) from her favorite vendors and also offers a variety of fabulous local products – including the lovely candles from the Walla Walla Candle Company (pictured below), which is also a woman-owned company (you can shop them online here). Julie also offers personalized design coaching for projects of any size; from new builds to a kitchen refresh.
- Midnight Oil Soap Company: In need of some self care? Midnight Oil Soap Company is an oasis of relaxing bath bombs, endless artisanal soaps, soothing lip balms, calming lotions, and more. Owner Kim Hedine comes up with each recipe for every product in her shop and makes all of these creations herself using goat’s milk from her own goat farm, where the goats are milked just once a day, and are “very spoiled” as she lovingly puts it. She also takes great care in what goes into her products. “It is very important to me to use 100% natural ingredients – no petroleum products or harmful, unnatural preservatives or ingredients.”
- The Cotton Wool: Art lovers can’t miss this gem that was opened in 2021 by local artist Kim Nemeth. An incredibly talented weaver, Kim’s artwork hangs in many local businesses and homes in the Walla Walla area. Here in her shop, Kim’s beautiful woven (and very popular) pieces are displayed next to the work of other local artists, with a focus on modern crafts. Opened more than 25 years ago by owner Teresa Ellison, the retailer offers stylish men’s and women’s clothing, footwear, and accessories. Walla Walla Clothing Co. specializes in Eileen Fisher and seeks to provide customers with quality goods from American-made labels including AG Jeans, Michael Stars, Mother Denim, Vince, Dolce Vita, and more.
- Kaleidoscope Studios: If you’re looking to get your workout on when you’re visiting Walla Walla, look no further than Kaleidoscope Studios. Located in the heart of downtown, Kaleidoscope specializes in cycling and yoga with uplifting classes and A+ instructors. A dream of friends turned business owners Britt Hodgen and Marika Tompkins, Kaleidoscope provides a healthy, fun, and inclusive atmosphere for working out and gathering with friends. - D’Olivo Tasting Bar: Food lovers delight; Owner/Operator Roni Hosfeld is sharing her love of all fine culinary things at D’Olivo!
