BrewFest Brings Troves of Locals and Visitors to Downtown Walla Walla
This Presidents Day Weekend brought droves of beer lovers to town for Walla Walla BrewFest. In its second year, BrewFest has already established itself as a crowd-pleaser to beer lovers from near and far – bringing in folks from all over the Northwest Region (and lots of beer-loving locals). A delightful departure from your traditional beer festival, BrewFest places breweries in downtown Walla Walla retailers, so patrons get to sip their IPAs, lagers, and the like while shopping at some of Walla Walla’s favorite local shops.
This year’s festival included over 30 different regional breweries, hailing near and far from Washington, Oregon, and Idaho (including several local Walla Walla breweries). The downtown corridor was abuzz with beer lovers sipping, shopping, and sauntering their way from one retailer and brewer to the next.
The Showroom on Colville was the check-in location for the event, and one of the brewery hubs of the festival – with several breweries stationed at the retail collective. Festival goers shopped culinary delights at TMACS Epicurean Kitchen, things of beauty at The Combine Art Collective, indulgences at Sivanah Spa, and more while enjoying the many delicious beers and ciders being poured.
A beer garden was also set up in the Heritage Square Park downtown and featured Deschutes Brewery from Bend, Oregon as well as local Big House Brew Pub. The sun came out for a perfect afternoon for frolicking, shopping, and sampling brews.

BrewFest proceeds benefit the Downtown Walla Walla Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote history, culture & commerce in the downtown.
