Walla Walla is full of Pride. With a public proclamation of Pride Month, inclusive flags along downtown’s corridors and a community festival dedicated to unity and acceptance, June is an even better time to visit, celebrate and support LGBTQ+-owned businesses that proudly deliver some of the area’s best food, drinks, hospitality and other services. Here are a few of Walla Walla’s LGBTQ+-owned businesses who help serve the Valley’s local community and visitors!

August Forest Cellars: The small-production winery is the vision of C.J. Augustine and business partner Forest Rogers-Phillips. The two became instant friends as students in Walla Walla Community College’s Enology and Viticulture Program, where they also discovered they shared East Coast roots. With a focus on inclusivity and accessibility, they hope to demystify wine for a new generation.
They plan to open a tasting room at the Airport District incubators in 2026. In the meantime, their wines are available at downtown Walla Walla’s The Thief Fine Wine & Beer, Marguerite and Wine Country Store, or on the website.

Bacon & Eggs: Enjoy indoor or al fresco dining at the new location of one of Walla Walla’s quintessential breakfast spots. Known for its craft cocktails and fresh-made dishes, including a fabulous lunch menu, the downtown Walla Walla spot draws inspiration from the farm-to-table movement with as many locally grown and sourced ingredients as possible.
