The Branding Crew Spodie (served in a trough, serves 6-8) | The Utterly Delicious (serves 2-4)

The drinks are as fantastic as the ambiance, with an array of top-shelf bourbons, an impressive selection of draft beers (keep an eye out for that ever-present $3 domestic beer), wines served by the jar, and fantastically fun cocktails.

Buttermilk Fried Chicken Gizzards | Chuckwagon Chili

Brought to life by owner Dan Thiessen, T-Post Tavern is a dream years in the making. Thiessen’s impeccable attention to detail is evident in every corner of the establishment. From a mechanical bull to a dance floor that promises to get your feet tapping, the thoughtful design of the space is apparent. The trim, crafted from wood sourced from the local fairgrounds, adds a touch of rustic charm that pays homage to the community’s heritage.

“The popularity of the old school, kick-ass country bars didn’t die – but the operators did,” says owner Dan Thiessen. “We saw a shift to ‘coyote ugly’ and flashy Vegas-style bars, but the allure of the cowboy lifestyle never really disappeared; and it’s ‘sexy’ again, thanks to shows like Yellowstone.” Growing up on a ranch just a couple of hours from Walla Walla, Thiessen’s connection to the cowboy culture runs deep, and he’s done a beautiful job bringing it to life in this space.

The Pounder: 1 Pound Patty + Bacon + Sharp Cheddar + Smoky Mayo

While T-Post Tavern revels in nostalgia, it’s no ordinary saloon. Behind its rustic charm lies a state-of-the-art kitchen that employs the latest culinary technology. Every dish is crafted to perfection, and standouts like the Hardwood Smoked Brisket and The Pounder Burger are poised to become crowd favorites.

Cowboy Queso

And let’s not forget about the Cowboy Queso – a mouthwatering mix of Corn Chips, Cheddar Jack, Seasoned Beef, Fire Roasted Tomatoes, and Black Beans that’ll keep you coming back for more.

The Campfire

Don’t just satisfy your taste buds; T-Post’s cocktails are an adventure on their own. Try “The Campfire” – a fusion of Whiskey, Cherry Wood Smoked Sweet Vermouth, Angostura Bitters, and Noble Tonic – to ignite your senses.

Family time lasts until 10pm, when T-Post becomes an adults-only zone, so make sure to bring the kids in for an earlier visit!

No visit to T-Post Tavern is complete without a ride on the mechanical bull. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s another reason to frequent T-Post Tavern: live music. T-Post will offer live music from local bands weekly. Get ready to hit the dance floor as it opens on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 9:00 pm until close.

From generous portions that satisfy your appetite to the mechanical bull’s thrill, T-Post Tavern captures the authentic Wild West charm. Join us for a genuine Western experience in the heart of Walla Walla!
