BrewFest is back for 2023!

Tickets are on sale now for Walla Walla BrewFest on Saturday, February 18, 2023… smackdab in the middle of Walla Walla Restaurant Month. Visitors will get the opportunity to experience the best Washington, Idaho and Oregon breweries (and cideries!) in one location… the heart of Walla Walla, downtown.

This event is a win for beer and cider lovers AND for brewers, who have the opportunity to showcase their best brews in a fun and engaging format. Over 15 participating venues downtown will play host to the breweries and cideries pouring their favorites. And while a day spent downtown is a vacation in and of itself, we think there’s quite a bit more to discover. Here’s how to flesh out your BrewFest itinerary!

STAY:

Best Western Plus

The selection is abundant when it comes to places to stay during your BrewFest visit, but Best Western Plus is the event’s host hotel this year. The Best Western Plus boasts many of the amenities you come to expect from their recognized chain, including indoor pool and hot tub, free breakfast, and a fitness center. Book your stay for BrewFest today!

PLAY:

BrewFest happens to fall on President’s Day Weekend, so book your extended stay from Wednesday – Monday to truly explore the area.

Plan to arrive Wednesday, and head over to Burwood Brewing for dinner, aka the best deal in town! They’ve paired up with WTFeatit for Burger + Beer Night and for $14, you can get a single smash burger and a beer to start your winter getaway the best way.

Spend Thursday or Friday at Bluewood Ski Resort, just over an hour’s drive from your stay and one of the state’s best-kept secrets. Short lift lines, uncrowded slopes, and a TON of powder await snow sports enthusiasts of any skill level!

Saturday is your BrewFest Day! The event begins at 12pm so sleep in and then wander downtown around mid-morning for brunch at Maple Counter Cafe. REALLY fill your stomach before the big day with their Restaurant Month special. Sneak in a little shopping at our many charming shops, boutiques, and art galleries before the festivities begin. Since the event ends at 4pm you’ll have ample time to head back to your hotel room to freshen up for dinner at a participating Walla Walla Restaurant Month business. Whether craving a fine dining experience or something a bit more casual, there is more than enough on our menu to sink your teeth into!

Sunday is a perfect day to explore a bit more of downtown. Pop into a few shops that you weren’t able to get to on BrewFest day. Maybe buy a fashionable raincoat before wandering over to Whitman College campus for their self-guided sculpture tour.

You could also spend Sunday wine tasting! Walla Walla wineries are in on the Walla Walla Restaurant Month fun, with special guided flights, food pairings, and more available to explore.

Before you head out of town on Monday, be sure to take advantage of the Walla Walla Restaurant Month special at Bacon & Eggs. Load up for your travel day with $6 biscuits and gravy, $6 short stack of pancakes, and $6 Bloody Marys or mimosas.
