No matter the style of wine or vibe you’re looking for; this list is guaranteed to have you covered! So put on your walking shoes and explore our beautiful wine-filled downtown!  

Proper + House of Bones Wine: This lovely tasting room features two wineries (brought to you by the winemaking team at Rotie Cellars) – House of Bones as well as Proper Wines. Nestled in the treetops above the downtown Plaza, this is the perfect place to enjoy fantastic wines and people-watching! Syrah lovers won’t want to miss this one!

Time & Direction Wines: Enjoy wines by Steve Wells at his hip and trendy downtown tasting room, Time & Direction. The thoughtful touches here (like the custom-made Nintendo themed wooden table) and laid back atmosphere invite you to kick back, relax, and enjoy some good wines and tunes (you’ll definitely notice that Steve is a music lover)!

Kontos Cellars: This family-owned winery is brought to you by the Kontos family, who are fifth generation Walla Walla wheat farmers.The tasting room and outdoor patio are incredibly charming with the swings (upstairs and on the patio), and also extremely photogenic. When you’re here, you always feel like part of the family.

Echolands Winery – One of Walla Walla’s newer tasting rooms, Echolands is brought to you by Doug Frost, one of only three people in the world who hold the coveted titles of both Master Sommelier and Master of Wine. The downtown tasting room is modern, sleek and stylish (and the wines are excellent). We’re big fans of their rosé!

Lagana Cellars:  Located in the heart of downtown, Lagana Cellars has been bringing us outstanding wines since 2013. “We craft wines that are terroir specific, expressing the natural world in which they were grown,” says co-owner and winemaker Jason Fox. Pinot Noir lovers take note – Lagana makes a delightful one, which we don’t see very much of in this region!

Spring Valley Vineyard: Just across the street from the historic Marcus Whitman Hotel sits the family owned and much beloved Spring Valley tasting room. Their feature flight showcases the finest 100% estate-grown wines from their family vineyards. Should you get hungry, you can upgrade your flights here to include rotating food pairings as well!

DAMA Wines: This female-owned winery boasts a beautiful tasting room located on the corner of S. Spokane and Main Street. “We select our grapes from a handful of highly acclaimed vineyards in Washington State. I love working with a variety of soils, climates and vines to create the distinctive wines that come from DAMA,” says founder and wine creator Mary Derby. Outside food is welcome; this is the perfect place to bring a sandwich from Graze, or tacos from A.K. ‘s Mercado while you wine taste.

Bergevin Lane Vineyards: A stunning tasting room and delicious wines await at this family-owned business that’s been crafting award-winning wines for over two decades. This space makes quite the statement with its sleek artwork and modern light fixtures, and also features a fantastic patio for spring and summertime sipping (and the patio is dog friendly)! Bergevin Lane offers a delightful food menu as well, brought to you by their (very yummy) next-door neighbor TMACS.

Vital Wines: Vital Wines is a passion project started by renowned local winemaker Ashley Trout. 100% of the proceeds of Vital Wines go to support healthcare needs of the winery and vineyard workers in the Walla Walla Valley (so you can support a great cause while you drink great wine)! The tasting room features beautiful works by local weaver Kim Nemeth and photographer Richard Duval.

Nocking Point Wines: A large collection of wines await at Nocking Point! You can also enjoy specialty coffee, beer, and food for purchase at this trendy tasting room. High ceilings, exposed bricks, and huge windows make this tasting room incredibly welcoming, and quite photogenic.
