Two New Tasting Rooms in Downtown Walla Walla to Put on Your List

We just love an Instagrammable tasting room, how about you? Downtown Walla Walla is abuzz with two new stunning tasting rooms that need to be on your list when you visit the Valley. Look no further than Echolands Winery (above) and Nocking Point Wines for those dreamy IG shots you’re hoping for (and they also have some pretty amazing wine)!

Echolands Winery

Echolands opened its doors in January of 2022 and has been a welcome addition to the downtown community. Here, you’ll find a sleek, modern tasting room filled with lots of natural light and happy plants. You’ll also find some delicious wines. Fun fact: owner Doug Frost is one of only three people in the world to hold the title of both Master Sommelier and Master of Wine (bravo, Doug!). The team is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming, and they’ll educate you about the wines in a way that doesn’t feel pretentious. Echolands sources 100% of their grapes from Walla Walla, and is best known for their elegant Bourdeaux blends and whole cluster Syrahs. While walk-ins are welcome, reservations are preferred, and you can make yours here.

Nocking Point Wines

Nocking Point recently relocated from the Airport District to Downtown and the new tasting room will blow you away. High ceilings, exposed bricks, and huge windows make this space feel incredibly welcoming, and very trendy. Choose from a sparkling, red, or white wine flight, and stay for a while (because trust us, you won’t want to leave)! Beer and craft coffee is also available, along with lots of great merch! Trivia night, live music and more are happening on a regular basis, make sure to check their Instagram account or website for current happenings.
