Just because you’re not imbibing doesn’t mean you can’t sip on something fancy! Whether you’re taking a break from booze for Dry January, embracing the sober curious movement, or acting as the designated driver, Walla Walla has a wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages and mocktails across many of our fantastic restaurants. Read on for some of our favorites, and bookmark this blog for your next trip to Walla Walla!
- Bartender’s Choice at TMACS: While there’s no permanent mocktail on the menu at TMACS, their talented bar team is happy to whip up something based on your tastes. Give them a direction to go in (sweet, tart, etc), and sit back and watch the magic happen! TMACS has a wonderful collection of non-alcoholic spirits, including the one pictured and used in the mocktail above (which was made of the Fluère N/A spirit, orgeat, lime, and blueberry simple syrup).

- The “Switchel” at Saffron Mediterranean Kitchen: This healthy tonic features cider vinegar, pure maple syrup, rolled oats, ginger, lemon, and a splash of soda. The N/Agroni (their version of a Non-Alcoholic Negroni) is also wonderful (and you’ll feel like you’re drinking the real thing)! Peruse the zero-proof section of their menu for even more non-alcoholic options!

- The “Blueberry No-Jito” at Walla Walla Steak Company: There’s always at least one mocktail on the menu at Walla Walla Steak Company (and the current offering is delicious). Say hello to the Blueberry “No-jito” – blueberry simple syrup, lime juice, soda, and mint leaf (swoon). We highly recommend pairing this with the scallop on the half shell to start your meal!

- The “Think Pink” and the “It’s All Gone Pear Shaped” at Hattaway’s on Alder: Hattaway’s has a “Mocktail” section of their menu and it features thoughtful, fun, and flavorful non-alcoholic options that will make you feel like you’re sipping the real thing! Current features are the “Think Pink” (plum puree, lemon, thyme, soda) and the “It’s All Gone Pear Shaped” (pear shrub, lime, sage, and soda). Enjoy it with their pimento cheese or roasted oysters!

- The “Mock-arita” at Kinglet: She’s not a permanent fixture on the menu, but she’s very popular at the bar right now at Kinglet. This non-alcoholic play on a margarita features yuzu, pine simple syrup, lime juice, and soda. It pairs oh-s0-nicely with the crispy chicken thigh on the bar menu.
